We currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to maintain and reconcile nursery fee income received from community day nurseries to ensure that all payments due are received.
This role will involve providing management information regarding fee income and chasing of arrears and to assist with the development and implementation of a new fee collection procedure.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Monitoring and correction of the general ledger for fee income received
* Matching of fee income received against individuals making payments.
* Liaison with community day nursery managers regarding individual fee arrears and payments
* Attendance at meetings with Officers on a regular basis to discuss management information regarding fees, including assistance in calculating possible fee outturn levels.
* Develop effective working relationships with Officers to ensure that accurate financial advice and training is provided to budget holders
* Assisting senior officers, producing or analysing data, and presenting materials in a variety of formats.
* To liaise with customers to resolve queries regarding payments and arrears where necessary
Candidates applying for this role will have previous ledger experience, have excellent communication skills and hold excellent Excel knowledge.
