To provide Software Engineering support, development to the engineering team. To be able to define and work to procedures and standards, to develop software applications for both the PC and embedded platforms, to debug and validate deliverables for both the software teams and external customers. Provide engineering support to the company sales team, existing and new customers, at customer sites.

Skills Required –
Software Engineering expertise using a high level language.
Development of embedded software applications and validation.
Development of p.c. software applications and validation.
Working knowledge of real time operating systems.
Working knowledge of on-board vehicle diagnostics.
Working knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, J1850, ISO9141, ISO14229).
Definition and implementation of diagnostic test plans.
Support new/existing customers and sales team.
Use of industry test equipment such as oscilloscopes, in-circuit emulators, CAN development tools, logic analysers.
Report in detail, using the relevant tools available, issues found during the debug and pre-validation of defined deliverables.
Successful candidates must be responsible, confident, excellent communicators and be self motivated; the ability to work on ones own initiative would be a distinct advantage.
