Full Description:
Newman University College wishes to appoint a part time Minute Secretary to assist the Clerk to the Board with the meetings of the Board of Governors and its Committees.

There are about 30 meetings during the year, held during the working day. The post holder would be required to attend meetings at the University College to take notes, to write the minutes at home and return them via email to the Clerk within a few days.

Ideally, the post holder would have had experience in writing minutes for senior committees, have some experience of Higher Education, be able to write to a good standard of English and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word.

The workload is anticipated as approximately 170 hours per year and will be remunerated at £15.85 per hour.
