We are currently in the process of recruiting a ‘Head of Marketing’ in to the organisation who will be solely responsible for spearheading the company profile, and increasing brand awareness both UK wide and overseas within the IT, Education, Environmental, and Oil and Gas recruiting sectors.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with innovative ideas whose overall responsibility will be to oversee, drive and develop the marketing strategy within Monarch, increasing brand awareness and profitability. Duties will include:-
• Develop marketing plans and capabilities both centrally and across business units
• Researching and analysing market trends
• Identifying target markets and how best to reach them
• Coming up with marketing strategies
• Organising the production of posters, brochures and websites
• Attending trade shows, conferences and sales meetings
• Making sure that campaigns run to deadline and on budget
• Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns
• Managing online marketing and advertising
• Sales and conversion rate reports
• Marketing campaigns evaluation reports
• Creating, managing, and reporting search engine marketing programs
• Inventory management for marketing literature and proposals
• Coordinate all technical aspects of print, production, purchasing, reordering, mailing.
• Negotiating, optimising, and managing multiple online marketing campaigns
• Search engine optimization which involves analysing and recommending site changes to optimise website traffic based upon sales conversion metric
• Analyse website visitor activity (index tools), interpret results and suggest ways to improve conversion and retention rates.
• Researching competitive products and gathering marketing information
Experience and Skills Required:
• Relevant commercial experience, within business to business and business to customer marketing environment
• Experience in strategic and tactical marketing across a range of disciplines in complex markets
• Excellent copywriting, grammar and spelling skills
• Creative design/desktop publishing skills – Adobe Photoshop; InDesign; Illustrator
• Flexible and able to react to change and prioritise accordingly
• Able to liaise at top level across the organisation
• Strong project management skills, strong analytical skills, familiar with a variety of online marketing tracking tools
• Creative thinking
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• Drive, motivation and enthusiasm
• The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• The confidence to 'sell' your ideas
• Excellent business sense and budget awareness
