A fantastic vacancy has become available for a senior quantity surveyor with one of our most prestigious clients in Birmingham.
Objective Qualities
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
• BSc Quantity Surveying
• Understanding of the construction industry and techniques
• Computer literate
• Full driving licence
Subjective Qualities
The successful candidate for this role will:
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with and colleagues work as part of a team
• Ability to prioritise work under pressure and complete within deadlines
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Possess a drive for innovation and be creative
Ideally, they will also demonstrate a flexible approach to work and work patterns as well as having a full driving licence.

Responsibilities
The Role & Responsibilities
Technical Responsibilities
• Support in the production of feasibility studies and estimates from minimal design information, through to detailed cost plans
• Preparation of tender documentation packages
• Contractual advice pre and post contract to other design team members and clients
• Support with settlement of final account packages
Operational Responsibilities
• Work as part of a team to ensure that projects and programmes are delivered to the client’s satisfaction
• Management/ownership of own workload in conjunction with programme issues
• Compliance with the companies Health and Safety and Business Management Systems
