Full Description:
Within the UK, our client provides facility services to customers through three operating Companies and all are focussed on particular market segments. The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the smooth day-to-day management of service at Contract. Providing direction, guidance training and support to all employees within their area of responsibility.


Key Responsibilities:
To develop and maintain a professional and proactive business relationship with all levels of client’s representatives; promoting the Company and development of services
To carry out complete investigation of all incidents and accidents involving employees, machinery or equipment. Ensuring all accident reporting procedures are followed.

Maintain regular contact with all employees within their area of responsibility

Recruit the highest possible calibre operatives to fill vacancies within the area. Personally monitor all applications for authenticity and seek and obtain references. Ensure all employee documentation is processed correctly.

Ensure that all employees are appropriately inducted, trained and developed. This responsibility includes identification of training needs, recommending training programmes, monitoring and evaluating the effect of that training.

Plan and allocate work to ensure effective use of staff and equipment. Compilation of rosters in conjunction with personnel at Contract.

Maintain budgetary control of labour and materials.

Ensure that standards are consistently achieved and maintained. Ensure regular audits on standards and due diligence documentation are carried out.

Ensure timely and accurate completion of all documentation.

Advise Operations Director of all changes which affect cleaning requirements, including additional equipment or areas to be cleaned, increase or reduction in frequency or any new services.

Manage implementation of Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policy. Carry out Risk Assessments on methods of work, use of chemicals and equipment, and maintain relevant documentation.

Qualifications/Experiences:

Proven track record of managing a large Contract which runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Knowledge of all types of cleaning
Management of sub contractors
