    A large comprehensive school in the South of Birmingham requires a strong and experienced RE teacher to work on a full time basis from April 08 until July 08.
    Under the last Ofsted inspection in 2003 the school was recommended as being satisfactory with many good areas. Since then, with the inception of a new headteacher and leadership and a number of wider initiatives, the school has improved vastly, in areas of learning, attendance and overall achievement.
    The ideal candidate will be comfortable with teaching in a school which is based in a considerably disadvantaged socio-economic area and for this reason should be equipped with the tools and experience necessary to understand and work effectively with students whom are identified as having behavioural and emotional problems.

    This is an excellent opportunity for the right person and will commence soon, subject to checks and suitability and is on-going until July 08.
