Council Strategic Asset Surveyor required at a local authority in the Walsall area. This is to be a 6 month minimum contract, 37 hours a week working on the council's own properties.
You will be reporting to the Estates & Asset Manager and assisting him in the preparation, implementation and maintenance of the Corporate Asset Management Plan, Corporate Property Strategy and the Council's land and property records. You will be undertaking strategic property reviews across the portfolio., devising and assisting in the implementation of Suitability Surveys. You will be responsible for the maintenance of the Council's Asset Register, including the revaluation of assets.
You must have asset management experience and will desirably worked for a local authority previously. You will have a relevant HNC or equivalent experience in surveying.
