The primary role of a Teaching Assistant is to assist the Teacher in the classroom. Your responsibilities can range from performing routine tasks to working with individual children with special needs. An increasing number of teaching assistants are given the task of assessing pupils' literacy and numeracy performance. You will need a fully checkable work/academic history and two verifiable references.
