| Highways Engineer: Job Details Our client currently has a number of vacancies in Birmingham, where you will work with a group of over 30 Technicians and Engineers on major highways projects. The company operates an ICE approved training scheme, and the role offers opportunities for career development to all levels of engineering and senior management. Responsibilities: You will assist in the production of quality engineering outputs. You will join our team of engineers and technicians working on multi-million pound major highways projects and be given opportunities for career development based on individual competency and willingness to learn. Requirements: We are looking for talented people to join us across the UK and Ireland to continue our focus on building relationships and delighting our clients (90% of our business is repeat business). In return we have opportunities to work on unique and exciting projects, and a stable platform upon which to develop your career. Approaching Chartered status with good post-graduation experience preferably in highways, you will have knowledge of DMRB standards and a passion to develop schemes through all stages from feasibility to construction. Experience of MX, traffic sign or drainage design would be a distinct benefit but above all, an enthusiasm to learn and to improve the quality of life for ourselves and future generations would be more of an advantage. Benefits: We offer a competitive package which includes a Pension and Life Assurance Scheme and the opportunity to participate in our Flexible Benefits programme which offers up to 29 days holiday per annum and a range of additional benefits. |
