Full Description:
Our client, based in central Birmingham is looking for a purchase ledger clerk to cover a 3 month contract. The role will involve a variety of tasks including the following;
You will be required to ensure all invoices are promptly logged on receipt and duly authorised prior to processing as well as ensuring that they are all compliant with VAT regulations.
You will be responsible for allocating expenses to budget holders and inputting of all invoices (for analysis and reporting purposes)
You will require good communication skills as you will be required to maintain close liaison with cashiers to ensure prompt payment of disbursements in accordance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
All maintenance of static data including the supplier addresses, payments terms etc will be recorded as well as constant liaison with these suppliers.
Finally you will be required to reimburse employee expense claims on a daily basis which will all be online.
