| My client is a leading life assurance company in the heart of Birmingham city centre. They are currently looking for a customer services professional to join their team. The primary focus of the role is to act as a front line customer interface with the focus on building and maintaining customer relations and generating leads for the field sales teams. Areas of Responsibility Handle calls to the Helpdesk, providing verbal responses to potential and existing customers concerning products and services provided Manage complaints effectively Liaise professionally with the administration areas and technical services in order to complete the request wherever possible Skills and Qualifications High level of interpersonal skills, able to command respect and confidence of customers and sales staff. Ability to plan, prioritise and organise work and workflow. Able to work accurately when under pressure. Excellent communication skills. Good administration skills. Excellent attention to detail. Working knowledge of Excel, Word and databases. A level or equivalent in English Previous Financial Services experience, or an FPC qualification, or call centre experience required. |
