Job Description

• 2D AutoCAD Draughtsman £25K based in Birmingham, UK.

• The company makes bridge parapets, passive sign supports, gantries, and safety fencing for installation in the UK and worldwide.

• This is an interesting role where you would be liaising with a variety of people including customers, contractors, architects and the Highways Agency on a variety of design projects.

• It is important to have worked in a previous fabrication company and have an engineering background.

• Knowledge of production processes such as welding and fabricating would be a great advantage as would a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

• Communication skills are very important because you will be problem solving with customers. You need to be able to fully understand their requirements.
