Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join Healthcare at Home, one of the UKs leading providers of home healthcare and specialist pharmacy services. Healthcare at Home also delivers clinical services on site throughout the NHS and independent healthcare sector, whilst offering a vast range of complex and highly sophisticated clinical services outside of the traditional hospital setting.We are looking to recruit a Paediatric Home IV Nurse, into a large team of skilled and experienced nurses in and around the West Midlands area. Within this team you will contribute to the continued delivery of a high quality home care service to all patients.You will be responsible for managing a case load of patients receiving IV and supportive therapies within their own homes. You will be coordinating and ensuring that all aspects of care are met, through the monitoring of follow up patient visits, according to the care pathway and through close liaison with the referring centre. If you are keen to work as an autonomous practitioner and provide high quality one to one patient care and make a real difference to the way in which patients receive their treatment, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.The successful candidate will ideally have the following qualifications/experience:RSCN or RN (C ).Experience in a Paediatric Nursing Setting.Development of Inter-professional care skills is essential.Knowledge in the care of IV devices and administration of IV therapiesA current clean driving licence is essential as the role involves extensive travel across the region.
