About the role
We are recruiting a Lead Analyst to provides valuable and insightful financial information and analysis to support decision making and highlight business performance improvement opportunities. Help to deliver change in the nature, scale and scope of financial reporting and analysis to deliver improvements over a sustained period.
Key responsibilities;
* Support the development of financial reports and key performance indicators to drive better, timely business performance and higher standards
* Support ad hoc analysis and financial modelling as an integral part of business decision making.
* Co-ordinate, review and challenge quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and 5 year plans.
* Track business performance against budgets, forecasts and five year plan commitments, providing meaningful variance analysis and identifying improvement opportunities.
* Manage, maintain and support the development of unit costing methodology
* Lead development, maintenance and monitoring of adherence to key accounting policies
About you
The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant and have previous experience in a similar role. You will have experience of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Business Warehouse and be able to work to tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with non-finance staff are vital.
