Clinical Business Consultant - Midlands - £45,000
An opportunity exists for a Clinical Business Consultant with recent clinical experience to join the Project Services team. Ideally based in the Midlands or M4 Corridor but not essential, the successful candidate will be part of a team delivering a comprehensive suite of business focused medical management products and services to help Acute Trusts and PCTs to better manage the cost and quality of care for the products for the Care Management Business Area.
The solutions include:
Disease management, nurse triage, care management, utilization management, decision support criteria, and software that helps manage workflow, resources, and regulatory reporting processes.
This position is ideally suited to someone with:
* Business experience
* Qualified clinical professional
* Healthcare experience of working with PCTs, Acute Trusts introducing innovative ways of working and Demand Management initiatives.
* Interest/experience in clinical governance, planning and care protocols.
* Experience of Project Implementation.
* Business Process re-engineering skills
* Ability to apply clinical skills within a business environment
* Strong knowledge of Utilisation, Case or Disease Management strategies, concepts and processes
* Proven experience at giving presentation/training sessions.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Negotiation and persuasion skills with an ability to influence
* Proven verbal and written communication skills
