The Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Recruitment Consultancy are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Administrator on behalf of a client based in the South Birminghmam area.
The Role
The Sales Administrator will be in direct contact with the company’s customers. Good administration & communication skills are essential with the ability to work closely and smoothly with other personnel within the company.
In addition to the administrative role the applicant will be expected to perform a pro-active role in UK sales in terms of chasing up sales enquiries, cold calling potential customers and organising potential customer meetings. Once the applicant is established in the Administration position the role will be expanded to include some marketing activities as well. The role would also entail a once a year overseas trip to cover an international exhibition (aprox 5 days)
Your main duties will include:
• Covering customers Sales enquiries via the telephone & email
• Processing customers orders on a daily basis
• Communicating sales order requirements to Management Team
• Pro-active telephone sales ( But Not hard selling )
• Administrative duties for Managers & Directors
The Applicant
To be considered for this position you must have experience in Sales and Marketing Activities and be competent in administrative and clerical skills. Excellent communications and all round computer skills are a requisite for this job.
37 Hours per week - £17,000
