Capita Education have an immediate long term vacancy for a Qualified History Teacher to work at a well known secondary school in Birmingham. You must be able to teach History to Key Stage 4, although the ability to teach through to Key Stage 5 would serve as an advantage.
The skills we require are:
* Qualified Teacher Status either PGCE or Cert Ed
* Willingness to promote learning
* Strong Classroom Management Skills
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work
* Positive outlook
* Excellent team player
Main duties will involve:
* Teaching History up to key stage 4
* Plan, mark work, get involved in departmental meetings and act as a Form Tutor
* Communicate at all levels
* Work as a team within the department and the school as a whole
* Parents evenings
* Reporting in line with the schools procedures
