The Fostering Team Manager will need:
To be accountable for the the performance of the team against key indicators and to establish appropriate monitoring mechanisms.
To ensure that arrangements for the recruitment, supervision and support of staff within the team are satisfactory.
To ensure that appraisal, training, health and safety, and other human resource functions within the team are carried out appropriately.
To ensure the timely allocation of work within the team and to ensure that appropriate systems are in place to monitor outcomes of intervention for children, young people and families.
To ensure the appropriate involvement of service users within policy and practice developments.
