Assistant Financial Controller
Birmingham
£25,000 - £30,000 + Study support

The Financial Controller of this locally renowned retail organisation is now searching for a hands-on Assistant to take care of day-to-day reporting for the business, thanks mainly to a solid performance and growth of an above projected level in the last two financial periods. Given responsibility for a clerical team of 2 you will ensure the timely reporting of accounts, whilst also having the opportunity to drive profitability working with the non-finance Business Managers.

Ideally you will be:
-Motivated by developing your team to improve the finance functions overall performance
-Confident in working with senior non-finance staff in an effort to support financial results
-Part way through your ACCA or CIMA studies
-Looking for a role that will use your current expertise, whilst developing commercial acumen
