A mixed seconday school in Birmingham wish to appoint a passionate and well qualified Maths Teacher. This vibrant and oversubscribed inner city school is described by OFSTED as being a 'harmonious' school where pupil behaviour is good.
The ideal candidate will be someone who believes they can make a difference to the lives of young people and who takes great pride in crafting creative and inspiring learning experiences for students.
You will join a friendly and welcoming school, working within an innovative team of specialists. You will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 Maths.
To be successful, you must be able to engage with students at every level of ability. You must be prepared to get fully involved in all elements of the teaching role, including; planning and marking. It is also important that you are dynamic in your approach to teaching as well as possessing good classroom management.
Ideally, you should be fully qualified, having gained QTS by the way of PGCE, GTP, BEd or Degree with QTS.

To qualify you must have at least 6 months teaching experience within UK schools; have Qualified Teacher Status or be an experienced Instructor or an NQT and have an enhanced CRB disclosure that is less than 12 months old.
