A sixth form school/college in Solihull is looking for at teacher of AQA A Level Graphics and BTec Art Teacher. The postition will be full - time, starting as soon as possible for a couple of months to begin with and potentially longer, for the right person. ART Graphics is a new course that they started this year so they need someone who can deliver the syllabus and has recent experience of specifically teaching Graphics and Art.
The school has excellent transport links and is within easy access for all areas of Birmingham and surrounding areas of the west midlands. The school is renowned for a supportive and proactive approach to teaching and the Department has been very successful.
The right candidate should have the following:
* QTS or at least 6 months teaching experience
* Teach A Level and BTec Graphics and Art
* Be prepared to plan, mark work, get involved in departmental meetings and act as a Form Tutor
* Be resourceful, enthusiastic, dynamic and passionate.
* Be able to communicate with their consultant
* Work as a team within the department and the school as a whole
